Dear IJRetina readers and contributors.
Being a retina specialist often feels like we are fighting an uphill battle, especially when we see many of the diabetic patients with devastating vision loss that could have been prevented.
Annual screening for DR is one of our weapons to fight it.
In this current issue of IJRetina volume 7 no 2, a team of authors proposed a guideline for diagnosis and management for DR and DME to help with our decision making in daily practice.
In addition, anti-vegf role in retinal diseases, although have been studied extensively, still remains one of the most interesting field to explore. This issue showed a few compelling studies regarding anti VEGF in PDR and ROP.
This issue of IJRetina also display some interesting case reports ranging from inherited retinal diseases to infectious diseases.
We hope you enjoy reading it. Thank you for your unwavering support and your ongoing contribution towards International Journal of Retina.
