Dear readers,

We are proud to publish IJRetina volume 6 number 1 in 2023 on time. For this issue we have three  original research articles, one article review, and three interesting cases, in the field of medical retina and surgical retina.  We also have  one  editorial article by invitation from the new president of Indonesia Vitreoretinal society (INAVRS) about hot topic nowadays, future eye related disease due to myopia.
